Condition:

DTCs P0016 (Crankshaft Position – Intake Camshaft Position Not Plausible Bank 1) and P0018 (Crankshaft Position – Intake Camshaft Position Not Plausible Bank 2) may also lie put in and the Check Engine MIL can also keep illuminated.

Cause:

The DTCs may also be precipitated with the aid of the Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Park Lock Solenoid Valves (or Camshaft Position Actuator Locating Pin Control Valves) sticking in the actuator yet advent apart and leaving a section concerning the valve caught in the actuator.

Correction:

Replace each solenoid valves

Service Procedure:
